I'm posting this message in a forum to generate discussion and feedback for my suggestion, if anyone has any. Though it doesn't really belong in "Trip Reports", it really doesn't belong in any of the other forum topics either.

Deidre,

I forgot to mention to you (when we met last Saturday night at the campfire), a suggestion for an optional binding version of your new Jacks guide. I highly recommend a binding similar to that of the Mount Lemmon guide book, "Squeezing the Lemmon II". A spiral binding with a flap for marking pages extended from the back cover. Perhaps once you find someone that can provide such a binding at a reasonable price, you could offer two versions of the guide. I know that I would prefer the latter.

later,
Stephen

spiral binding

thanks for posting, stephen.
i agree, and my first choice for binding was spiral. however, i had few options because i published via print-on-demand and the only POD source that offered spiral binding was much more expensive. however, let me look into this some more; it may be possible to set things up so that individuals such as yourself can order a spiral bound copy from a different printer than the one i went with. i just can't stock stores with this type of binding or the guide would cost too much. i will let you know one way or another.
